Ted DeGrazia is one of the best-known modern artists in the world and he was born right here in Arizona.

He moved to Tucson from Morenci, and created thousands of pieces of artwork that have been recreated and sold internationally. The DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun is holding a year-long celebration to commemorate the artist's birthday. He was born in 1909 but passed away in 1982.

The event is called DeGrazia: 100 Years, 100 Works and will display some works that have never been seen by the public.
