Tonight’s show begins with an exclusive interview with Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano who will discuss what Tuesday’s election results may mean for the future of the Grand Canyon state. Next, as the volatility on Wall Street continues, banks around the country are feeling the effects. There are two locally owned banks in Tucson, and Kim Craft takes us inside both establishments to see how they are coping with the tight credit market, small business loans and falling interest rates. Host Bill Buckmaster speaks with Dr. Christopher Lamoureux, Head of the UA’s Department of Finance at the Eller School of Management. Buckmaster and Dr. Lamoureux will discuss the current economic and financial crisis and provide some insight into the steps the federal government is taking to try to right the ship. Lastly, the annual All Soul’s Day procession takes place this weekend. Luis Carrion previews the weekend activities and explains the history behind this cultural event which is unique to the Tucson community.
