Season 1, Episode 6 of 8 :  The Shake Up

Jack Lecza, a cape merchant and treasurer of the colony, has been sent to check up on the new venture on behalf of the sponsoring company. The governor is unhappy and unsettled; the colonists are under pressure to prove themselves and the indentured servants, who already feel displaced, are once again shuttled between the houses. The colony's performance will be assessed in just three weeks by a group of experts, and the colonists are eager to put on a good show. Non-attendance of Sabbath is once again under scrutiny. John Voorhees hands in his notice as councilor over the issues, and Lecza's ideas for economic ventures take effect, with clamming, fishing and spar production getting underway. The governor remains skeptical about Lecza but confident about his colony.
