The organ pipe cactus is native to Mexico and the United States where many can be found in their namesake national monument in western Pima County, Arizona. The organ pipe cactus is a large and tough native plant in the Sonoran Desert that can be easy to grow in urban environments. It provides an aesthetic appeal while helping pollinators such as bats... and its fruit is edible!
