Docapella

Get to know Docapella, an acapella singing group composed of med students and faculty, and see how their uplifting sound can affect the lives of young patients.

Medical school can be a busy, stressful time. But a group of U of A med students has found a way to beat the stress...and make a positive difference, through music, at the same time. We’ll get to know Docapella, an acapella singing group composed of med students and faculty, and see how their uplifting sound can affect the lives of young patients. And, we’ll learn a bit about how science is helping to reveal the efficacy of music in healing and recovery.
