Saguaro Ball

Performance artist Kimi Eisele organized an “old fashioned” ball on the eve of the National Park Service Centennial celebration. The idea was to explore the idea of “how does one duet with a different species?” Around 40 participants dress up and met at sunrise to dance with and among the cactus in Saguaro National Park West. This was just part of Eisele’s larger project, Standing with Saguaros which was sponsored in part by the National Endowment for the Arts. Story: Andrew Brown
