El Dia de San Juan

Each year, on June 24th,the Tucson community comes together to celebrate the Monsoon and the birthday of St. John the Baptist. Celebrants and performers gather at Mission Garden on Tucson’s west side for the procession that leads to Mercado San Agustin where the festivities begin. The El Dia de San Juan Fiesta is a community celebration complete with food, drink, song and dance... and prayers for the rains to come.
