Catalina Highway

It is said you can experience a journey from Mexico to Canada by taking the Catalina Highway from Tucson to Summerhaven on top of Mt. Lemmon.

It is said you can experience a journey from Mexico to Canada by taking the Catalina Highway from Tucson to Summerhaven on top of Mt. Lemmon. The drive goes up 6,000 vertical feet and encompasses different life zones you will find in North America, providing spectacular views for residents and visitors alike. Recently, the University of Arizona’s College of Science produced the Mount Lemmon Science Tour app whose goal is to provide its users with a deeper understanding of this natural environment.
