Tucson Police Department are working to build stronger bonds with the community by being present and engaging with people and businesses in what is now known as the District. The Tucson Police Department is one of 15 agencies selected to participate in the COPS program as part of President Obama’s Task Force on 21st Century Policing.

Through stunning photography and powerful storytelling, Arizona Illustrated introduces you to the people that make Arizona such a unique and vibrant place to live.

Hosted by Tom McNamara, Arizona Illustrated is a flagship program of Arizona Public Media and one of PBS 6's most watched programs.

Covering a wide variety of topics including history, science and nature, the arts, and local public affairs, each half-hour episode of Arizona Illustrated is presented in a newsmagazine format, and includes mini-documentaries that are shot on location in southern Arizona.

Arizona Illustrated has been showcasing the stories that make southern Arizona unique for 30 years.
