8 p.m. - Nature, presents the best in original, natural history film making. Snow Monkeys looks at a troop of snow monkeys in the frigid valleys of Japan’s Shiga Highland that function in a complex society of rank and privilege where each knows his and her place.

9 p.m. - Nova, explores breakthroughs in the revolutionary science of animal cognition. Inside Animal Minds: Who's the Smartest? investigates the social lives of some of the smartest animals on the planet.

10 p.m. - Your Inner Fish. Find out which beneficial traits—and some less useful ones—our primate progenitors bequeathed us.
