Doc Martin: The Legend of Cloutie

In this "prequel" to the series, a family in London has their eye on the same property Martin wants to buy. Thursday at 9 p.m. on PBS 6.

The Doc (Martin Clunes) is in need of a bit of distance from the small village of Port Issac, so when the local real estate agent shows him the ramshackle, middle-of-nowhere property Tregrunnt Farm, it's love at first sight. Problem is the Bowden family from London also have their eye on the property for holiday cottages. After being hoodwinked in the deal and increasingly desperate to buy the property, Doc decides to try and spook the family into leaving with the help of the legendary Beast of Bodmin.
