EDDIE RIOS, A TUCSON NATIVE AND KOREAN WAR MARINE VETERAN ARRIVED IN KOREA DURING THE AMPHIBIOUS LANDING AT INCHON. EDDIE LATER PARTICIPATED IN THE BATTLE FOR THE CHOSIN RESERVOIR NEAR THE CHINESE BORDER. WITH TEMPERATURES BELOW MINUS 35 DEGREES SERIOUSLY OUT-NUMBERED MARINES FOUGHT CHINESE NATIONAL TROOPS IN WHAT MAY HAVE BEEN THE COLDEST BATTLE EVER FOUGHT BY US TROOPS.
