Fast Pitch Tucson

Philanthropists at Social Venture Partners stepped up recently to launch Fast Pitch Tucson, a program designed to cultivate communication skills and build capacity and effectiveness in our non-profit sector.

Local non-profit organizations address social challenges in our community every day, serving those in need. They work on everything from poverty to early childhood education, often filling the needs gap between government and the private sector. Philanthropists at Social Venture Partners stepped up recently to launch Fast Pitch Tucson, a program designed to cultivate communication skills and build capacity and effectiveness in our non-profit sector. Participants really had to look hard at what they do, how they do it and why. The catch? They would learn by competing for dollars.
