When the owner of a failing surf school is found shot dead, in the chest at close range, in a locked room; the only suspects are his wife, his best friend, and the three pupils staying at the school. When a recently taken out life policy is discovered, suicide seems the only possibility until the relationships of the suspects are taken into account.
