Generations of Jewelers

The Patania Family has been a staple in Tucson since 1937.

The Patania Family has been a staple in Tucson since 1937 when Frank Pataina Sr. opened the Thunderbird Shop on Congress next to the Fox Theater. 89 years and 3 generations later the family is still making fine jewelry in Tucson as Patania Sterling Silver Originals. The family has been recognized and collected across the country and are in the permanent collection at the Smithsonian. Their work will be featured in the 2016 Tucson Modernism Week and is always on display at the Arizona Inn.
