The Paton Center

What used to be a private home in Patagonia is now a popular destination to people from all over the United States and other countries.

What used to be a private home in Patagonia is now a popular destination to people from all over the United States and other countries. Wally and Marion Paton were the owners of a house along Sonoita Creek where they began to feed hummingbirds and other wildlife. Soon it became well-known in the community and the word was spread around the world. After the Patons passed away, Tucson Audubon Society (TAS) was able to buy the property and it is now restoring the place for the enjoyment of additional visitors.
