Episode 170: Anna Dornhaus, professor of ecology and evolutionary biology, University of Arizona

Researchers are asking if intelligence should be seen as a set of independent problem-solving modules, or as a single, generalized skill of innovation. Prof. Anna Dornhaus studies social insects like ants and bees to find the answer. Her findings could lead to better algorithms for computer networks and artificial intelligence technology. Prof. Dornhaus will present details of her research on Tuesday, February 26 as part of the College of Science Lecture Series.
