Aaron Lieberman is joining the Democratic primary for governor. The two-term state representative from Paradise Valley announced his run in a campaign video.
He said Arizona has to try “new approaches to education, to health care, to ensuring that we have clean air and water, and a booming economy that will help every Arizonan be successful.”
Lieberman was a Head Start teacher and helped found Jumpstart, a nonprofit that works with preschools.
He is the third Democrat to enter the race for governor. Five Republicans are also running to replace Governor Doug Ducey who is termed out of office.
