Merrilees takes a culinary tour around Scandinavia, a region infused with Viking history and heritage. She begins her travels at a Viking festival, learns how to smoke herring in a Swedish village, assists with the smorgasbord at the Midsummer Festival, prepares moose with Lars Backman - the inspiration for the Swedish Chef on "The Muppet Show" - and cooks with the Sami people at the Arctic Circle.
