Mona A-GO-GO: Mona goes through a series of firsts and learns that determination leads to success. Mona is outside coloring when Russell joins her and sneezes due to her long hair. Nana decides it is time for Mona's first haircut. At first Mona is excited but when she sees the scissors she becomes scared. To show Mona that there is nothing to be afraid of, Nana cuts some of her own hair. Mona's fears are eased and allows Nana to cut her hair. After she is finished admiring her new haircut they head into the living room to put a piece of her hair in Mona's big book of first. Story Time: Nana and Mona read through Mona's big book of firsts for example her first time at the beach, her first birthday, her first steps, etc. At the end of the story, Nana puts Mona's hair from her first haircut on the last page of the book. Mona decides she would like to make lunch for the first time, for Nana to eat. She will make her cereal. Mona gets the bowl, but needs Nana to help her to reach the cereal and the milk. Mona pours the cereal everywhere and only gets one flake in the bowl. Mona isn't very happy, however, Nana is very proud of her and eats the single flake with gusto. Later Mona is watching TV when Nana gets a call from Mr. Wooka. Apparently there is a surprise for Mona in the yard. They head out back and it is a tricycle, Mona's first tricycle. They get her in her safety pads and Mona tries to ride the bike. She finds it very difficult. Nana gives her advice, but she isn't able to get the bike moving. Mr. Wooka has the perfect puppet show for her. Puppet Show: A mountain climber is trying to get to the top of a mountain peak because he wants to yodel for everyone to hear him. He keeps trying to climb but encounters obstacles along the way. He never gives up, and in the end achieves his goal. Mona decides to give the bike another try. This time she doesn't give up and she is successful. She rides the bike around the yard, and when the doorbell rings she continues to ride the bike through the house. Mona's mom sees and takes her and her new tricycle home.
