Season 19, Episode 13 of 52

Faith-based Activism on Climate Change - World leaders are gathering in Paris next week for a UN summit that is tasked with producing an international accord to address climate change. Kim Lawton traveled to the bayous of South Louisiana, where faith-based activists are trying to put Pope Francis' words into action by helping vulnerable communities they say are directly affected by climate change. Most scientists say climate change has led to rising sea levels which are accelerating erosion and land loss. Lawton talked to delta residents who are being displaced, as well as local religious leaders. She also spoke with those who believe concerns about climate change are overblown.
