Louisville

It's all about horses as Katie learns the history of the Kentucky Derby and takes a riding lesson from a local pro. Then we head out in nature to explore one of the largest arboretums and forest preserves in the region - and see the "Kentucky Knobs." Just east of the city, we explore Bardstown, home of "My Old Kentucky Home" and the center of bourbon distilling. Later on, we head just north of Louisville, into southern Indiana, for an impressive tour of the giant, underground Squire Boone Caverns.
