Native Report

On this Native Report we learn about the art of basket making from Eastern Band of Cherokee Elder Emma Garrett, she is one of only a few women who still make this traditional style basket. While in North Carolina we also learn how the Eastern Band of Cherokee Nation is managing their fisheries resource. And we look at the night sky through the lens of traditional Dakota and Lakota astronomy. We also hear from the elders and learn something new about Indian Country on Native Report.
