When Gilbert learns that he owes $3,200 to the IRS, he signs up for Extreme Bug Makeover, a metamorphosis competition, to win the $10,000 grand prize. However Gilbert soon realizes that his talents can't compare to the amazing and real metamorphoses of his competitors, so he gets an extreme makeover of his own to try to emulate them. Thanks to his newly inflated ego and a new crop of admirers, Gilbert's relationship with Adam becomes strained. Can Adam talk some sense into Gilbert, or will our dynamic duo fall to pieces?
