PBS News Weekend

Season 6, Episode 32 of 99

This Election Day, five more states will vote on legalizing marijuana for recreational use by adults, possible adding to the four states plus the District of Columbia whose residents have already voted to make pot legal. California was the first of 25 states to legalize medical marijuana 20 years ago, and pro-legalization forces predict if California approves recreational use this year, it could tip the national debate toward decriminalization and legalization across the United States. NewsHour Weekend Special Correspondent Mike Taibbi reports on how the new law would work, as well as who's for and against it.
