Maureen Dowd is a best-selling author and a columnist for The New York Times. In 1999 Dowd won the Pulitzer Prize for her columns on the Monica Lewinsky scandal during the Clinton administration. She has most recently written The Year of Voting Dangerously: The Derangement of American Politics.
