PBS News Weekend

Season 6, Episode 36 of 99

A big target of the 2016 campaign is the Millennial generation -- the roughly 83 million Americans born between 1982 and 2000, which includes eligible voters now 18 to 34 years old. It's a generation that now outnumbers the Baby Boomers and is also the nation's most diverse and when it comes to party affiliation, the most independent. NewsHour Weekend's Christopher Booker went to the perennial swing state of Florida to find out how Millennials, who could determine the winner there, are reacting to and participating in the presidential campaign.
