Goodwill explains how it is preparing to implement a higher minimum wage in January. Interviewee Judith Simmons, director of marketing Goodwill Industries Southern Arizona. Mt. Lemmon’s fire chief, Randy Ogden, recently traveled to Israel to fight fires there. He talks about what he learned, and the unexpected dangers he faced. The 2017 economic outlook has mixed news. We interview Eller College of Management Economist George Hammond about what the predictions tell us, and what job-seekers need to know. This week marks the 75th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, and we end the show with scenes from the dedication ceremony of the University of Arizona’s new USS Arizona memorial.
