Host LeVar Burton discusses the book from the Vietnam M emorial in Washington, D.C. where Buntings story, about a boy who goes to the memorial with his father to learn about his grandfather and wa r, takes place. Mia Lin, the architect who designed the Vietnam Memori al, discusses how she developed this design and what it means to her. This episode also features a history of the construction of Mount Rush more and a discussion with artist Juan Sanchez as he creates a mural t o honor musician Louis Armstrong.
