Season 6, Episode 64 of 99

American companies have often moved manufacturing plants in search of cheaper labor or easier access to raw materials. But inside the U.S., American, states find themselves competing with each other to host corporate headquarters or factories and the good-paying, white-collar and blue-collar jobs that come with them. In turn corporations leverage their position to shop around for the best deals and tax incentives to relocate. NewsHour Weekend Correspondent Christopher Booker reports on this business tug-of-war between states, and why one Fortune 100 company left one state for another.
