Nearly 30 wildfires are burning throughout the state of Arizona. This week’s program visits the Lizard Fire in Cochise County. Earlier this week it was considered one of the largest fires burning in the country consuming more than 15,000 acres. Arizona is also leading the way in how forest personnel are committed to communicating with the public in the event of emergencies like wildfires. Plus, the monsoon begins this week, we’ll have meteorologist with that means for summer wildfires.
