We’ll also talk with Audra Christophel of the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona, which has teamed up with TUSD to help get local produce into schools. -We’ll check in Demion Clinco and Helen Erickson, who are leading an effort to get barrio Viejo designated as a National Historic Landmark, and delve into why they say that recognition is so important. - An interview with a local Medical tech firm, Salutaris (SAL-you-tear-iss), which working on a device that they say could offer hope for millions of people with macular degeneration. -A check in with Ron Schwabe about projects his company Peach Properties has underway and how he thinks downtown Tucson will look in the future. -And a visit to the Cushing Street Underpass, where skateboarder Caleb Guitierrez is working on a project to build a public skate park.
