Originally from Broken Arrown, Oklahoma, J.D. McPherson was named by Rolling Stone as an artist to watch and he has performed on Conan O'Brien, NPR's World Cafe and Jay Leno's Tonight Show. J.D.'s sound harkens back to the early days of rock and roll and on this encore episode, he performs several of his signature tunes, including "Northside Gal."
