On this week’s show: -A conversation with Vail Unified School District Superintendent and Member of the Arizona Board of Education Calvin Baker about the bumpy roll out of the state’s new rating system for public schools. - Tucson’s Evergreen Cemetery is turning 110 years old, making it one of the oldest businesses in the community. We go for a visit and take a deep dive into its history. -The All Soul’s Procession has become one of the city’s biggest annual events and takes place on Sunday November 5th. We went to Creative Director Nadia Hagen’s workshop recently to learn about the history of this uniquely Tucson tradition and what it means for this community. -Tucson’s airplane boneyard is no longer just a place where planes go to die – some come here now to come back to life. WE take a visit to the repair shop. - And lastly, the Boneyard also recently hosted its annual 5k run, which has taken place since 2013. We take a look back at the event when it was just two years old.
