Yamiche Alcindor is the White House Correspondent for PBS NewsHour, a political contributor for NBC News and MSNBC, and a former national reporter at The New York Times. Since joining The Times in 2015, she has covered the presidential campaigns of Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders, Congress, and the intersection of race and politics in the US. Alcindor received her bachelor's at Georgetown University and a master's at New York University.
