In the second episode, Jerry shows the viewers how to take the soft gray undertones that he used in the previous episode and begin to lighten them -- and using the #10 bristle brush adds the shapes of the light formations. Then Jerry shows his viewers how to use specific blending techniques to add brighter colors by gradually layering them. Then he underpaints the mountain range.
