In the third episode Jerry continues explaining to his students how to use the #10 bristle brush with multiple layers of lighter values of warm earth tones to bring up the highlights through the center of the painting - paying careful attention to use very delicate vertical dry brush strokes to soften the edges of the grassy areas. He then finishes this episode with the #4 chisel-edge brush to create the darker and lighter tall weeds. Then taps in the seed pods with the #4 bristle brush.
