Portraits in Architecture

Season 1, Episode 3 of 6

David M. Schwarz has a busy office in Washington, D.C. that designs sports facilities, concert halls and shopping centers around the country. But his most significant work was revitalizing the downtown of Ft. Worth, Texas. With the largesse of Ft. Worth native and philanthropist Ed Bass, Schwarz designed and built dozens of new buildings over decades, including a stunning European style concert hall and a public square, bringing walkable urbanism to car-crazy Texas.
