PBS News Weekend

Season 10, Episode 74 of 99

A show dedicated to people with disabilities -nearly 20 percent of Americans - and efforts to break their societal barriers. Clothing can hamper independence for people with disabilities because it can fit incorrectly or be too difficult to put on. NewsHour Weekend's Megan Thompson profiles the Open Style Lab, a program training designers to make clothing that's more accessible, and she speaks to Tommy Hilfiger, who was the first major fashion designer to launch a clothing line for people with disabilities.
