Jean-Michel Cousteau: Ocean Adventures

America's Underwater Treasures - Part 1

Season 2, Episode 3 of 4

The Cousteau team examines the history, biology and environment of the 13 national marine sanctuaries of the United States. Traveling to the coasts of Michigan, Texas, Florida, North Carolina and California, viewers will be submerged deep into these little-known eco-systems and come face to face with the friendly and ferocious creatures of these seldom-visited waters. Narrated by Robert Redford. In part one, the Cousteau team explores sea turtles laying their eggs on the shore in the middle of the Georgia night, coral spawning like fireworks among the Florida reefs and kelp forests as thick and tall as the California redwoods.
