In The Shadow Of Giants, Part 3

In episode 3, Jerry starts with #4 chisel-edge brush and begins highlighting on the back of one of the elephants continuing on to various areas of the animals. This technique is called dry-brush skimming. Continuing on Jerry shows intermediate highlights and cast shadows to create better form and shape to the animals. Jerry mottles some darks and lights. Jerry shows how to clean up the forms and shadows. Now with #4 round sable to shape and built from light to dark.
