Big Ears, Part 1

Acrylic Medium, 16x20 Gallery Wrap Canvas. This is a painting of a young male Kudu Buck of the antelope family. With #12 bristle brush to create a mottled background, Jerry starts by just "throwing on" a variety of colors on the canvas. Now Jerry uses #10 chisel-edge brush to start putting in movement to emulate distant bushes and brush. Then uses #4 sable script-liner to add skinny overlapping limbs.
