PLAYBACK SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURS presents: the Environment Episode, focused on the Water Crisis and need for innovation in the nation's waterways from Florida and the Chesapeake Bay to California and the Midwest. "Killing the Water" is a Special Report built on over 20 years of investigation and data from leading marine biologists and conservationists, revealing the alarming story of rapidly declining water quality in the U.S. The primary report illustrates the ecological and economic impact of contamination on the Oceans, Coral Reefs, the Gulf of Mexico, lakes, rivers and estuaries. The PLAYER POWER segment profiles an award-winning Native American environmentalist and her battle to protect the earth and water on Native Land from uranium mining and other contaminants. PLAYBACK is the first broadcast television program of its kind, dedicated to exploring issues of social responsibility in business, entertainment, science and the environment. This is the second episode in an ongoing series.
