POWER OVER PARKINSON'S 2

Episode 1 of 1

While there is no cure for Parkinson's, current medications help people living with the disease stabilize and manage symptoms. Meanwhile, an increasing number of patients are also looking to additional, supplemental strategies and therapies - from Tai Chi to acupuncture - to help deal with the effects of this neurodegenerative disorder. POWER OVER PARKINSON'S 2 examines a range of new approaches aimed at decreasing the impact of Parkinson's symptoms and improving day-to-day life. Patients, doctors and other experts discuss the complementary therapies being studied and implemented into everyday life, and the potential benefits of integrative treatment programs that address both mind and body.
