Season 12, Episode 74 of 99

In the seminal arcade video game, NBA Jam, teams of two with comically huge leaping abilities shoot and dunk. But what made this video game a smash hit was the fact that after two shots were made a player would begin "heating up," and after three shots were made a player would go on an unstoppable shooting streak. But do these kinds of streaks exist in real life? Hari Sreenivasan recently spoke with Wall Street Journal reporter Ben Cohen about his new book, "The Hot Hand," and the implications of streaks both on and off the basketball court.
