Rosedown Plantation dates to the 1800's and is located in one of the most historic corridors of South Louisiana. Its garden design has roots in formal gardens of France and Italy, many of the plants were imported from the Orient. Today its pleasure gardens are notable for their size, sophistication and refined plant collections. The lessons learned here over 200 plus years are valuable today.
