FAITH SERVICES: With eased restrictions statewide, faith leaders now have the task of deciding whether or not to resume in-person services. Arizona 360 looks at some of the varying approaches taken by the Catholic Dioceses of Phoenix and Tucson, as well as the Muslim Community Center of Tucson. BUSINESS CHECK-IN: Arizona 360 continues to check in with local businesses about how they’re managing during the pandemic. This week we visit two companies that have each operated for more than 60 years in Tucson. Manufacturer Reproductions, Inc. saw its printing services decline but managed to make up for some of its losses by supplying a new demand for plexiglass shields. Sam Levitz was forced to furlough more than 500 employees and close showrooms in April. Now the owner shares how they are adapting to challenges brought on by COVID-19. FEDERAL LOANS: Shivani Dubey (DO-bay), deputy district director of the Arizona Small Business Administration, discusses what federal loans are currently available to small business owners in Southern Arizona, as well as the stipulations they carry and what business owners should do to ensure they’re applying the funds correctly. PROPER MASK ETIQUETTE: Brandie Anderson, an infection preventionist at Banner – University Medical Center Tucson, explains the proper way to wear a face mask and gloves in public.
