K-12 INSTRUCTION: Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction Kathy Hoffman discusses her concerns about students and educators resuming in-person learning safely. Arizona 360 also hears from Pima County Chief Medical Officer Francisco Garcia about guidance it recently released that recommends schools delay reopening campuses until after Labor Day at the earliest. CIVIL LIBERTIES: University of Arizona professor Dr. Marvin Slepian discusses a recent paper he co-authored that looks at the balance between civil liberties in the U.S. and health-related mandates during the pandemic.
