A mural in West Oakland is the only public art installation in the world dedicated to the women of the Black Panther Party - a colorful, mesmerizing expression of pride and esteem meant to increase the visibility of Black women who were part of this historic movement. NewsHour Weekend spoke with curator Jilchristina Vest about the mural and the museum created in its wake.
