WORDS ON THE WIND blends readings of contemporary Native American poetry with original music, scenes of tribal lands and sounds from the natural world. The half-hour program surveys Ponca (Neb.) poet Sa Su Weh's work, which touches on the rhythms of the planet, Native wisdom and spirituality, and the relationship between humans and nature. In addition to readings, on-camera interviews with Weh explore the motive and intent behind his work, tribal history, ancient wisdom and more.
